FLOOD SPECIFIC SUPPORT
Brisbane City Council Support
Brisbane City Council has released a range of flood relief resources for businesses including rate relief and the Community Facility Disaster Relief Payment program.
Rural Financial Australian Government and Queensland State Government Support
Financial support has been made available for flood-affected small businesses, farmers, not-for-profit organisations, and sporting and community clubs. Grants of up to $75,000 are available for businesses to hire or purchase equipment and materials, clean up, remove debris, replace fencing and other costs associated with the recovery process.
Australian Government Disaster Relief Payments
A lump sum payment to support significantly impacted individuals affected by the recent floods. Adults are eligible for a $1,000 lump sum payment.
The Queensland Small Business Hardship Appeal
Small businesses experiencing hardship can contact the Queensland Small Business Commissioner’s office to be connected with our Small Business Hardship Appeal partners on 1300 312 344.
